We’re thrilled to introduce a brand new feature that will be launching in the next of couple days, which will flag account inconsistencies and make your workflow smoother and more accurate. Say hello to the “Inconsistency” tab, designed to give you deeper insights and streamline your accounting and bookkeeping process!
What’s New?
Our new test automatically reviews transactions in the general ledger when you initiate a scan, flagging potential issues for your review.
What It Looks For
- Missing Vendor Names: Bank and Credit Card transactions with blank vendor names will be flagged inconsistencies to prevent errors and ensure all details are accounted for.
- New Vendors: If a transaction involves a vendor not used in the past 12 months, it gets flagged. While not necessarily an error, these should be double-checked for accuracy.
- Account Inconsistencies: Transactions categorized differently from previous ones for the same vendor will be flagged. Consistency in categorization helps maintain accurate records.
Each flagged transaction in the “Inconsistency” tab can be clicked to reveal why it was flagged, providing you with clarity and control. Additionally, you can create exceptions for specific vendors within the client’s test rules.
We’re confident this new feature for account inconsistencies will save you time and reduce errors, making your processes more efficient than ever.
